    Emmanuel Saina of Kenya set a new South American all-comers record of 2:05:21 at the 34th edition of the Buenos Aires International Marathon, an IAAF Bronze Label road race, on Sunday (23).
  • Salpeter and Cheptegei prevail at Dam tot Damloop 10-miler
    Lonah Salpeter from Israel and Ugandan Joshua Cheptegei ran to victory at the 34th Dam tot Damloop, a ten-mile IAAF Silver Label road race from Amsterdam to Zaandam, on Sunday (23).

    Welcome to the official web site of the 
    Randwick-Botany Harriers inc.

    Affiliated with Athletics NSW we cater for male and female athletes of all standards and age groups, from under 14 to 70+. We provide access to all levels of competition in track and field events through the summer and road/cross country/walk races through the winter. Our mission statement: “To provide a pathway to excellence in all disciplines officiated by Athletics NSW.”

    One of the strong features of the club has been its development of junior athletes. Many members who joined the club as teenagers or even younger have gone on to win NSW and Australian Championships and subsequently represented Australia in Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games and World Championships. 

    Current high profile members of the club are:  Jeff HuntSteven Solomon,
    Jeremy Roff, Ben Moreau, Harry Summers, Selma Kajan, Lora Storey, Katelyn Simpson, Kate Spencer and Morgan McDonald.

    Vale - Ron Crawford OAM

    It was very sad news to hear that Ron Crawford, 3 times Olympian and our club President for 17 years, died at age 82.
    Ron was one of the kind, practically dedicated his whole life to sport, first as a competitor and later as sport administrator. His passing is a huge loss to our club.

    NSW Street Relays


    State Road R
    elays are to be held at Ourimbah, The University of Newcastle Central Coast Campus on Saturday 21st July. Our club will participate at this competition. Road Relays is fun event that caters for all age groups with teams comprising of 4 runners competing over distances of 4 x 2km, 4 x 3km and 4 x 4km.

    Our teams are nearly finalized.

    Australian Cross Country Championships

    2018 Australian Cross Country Championships are going to be held at Sunshine Coast on 25th August. Following several levels of qualifications through both mainstream and school competitions, athletes earn the right to run at national cross country championships. Our club continues long tradition and it will have a very strong contingent at this competition.

    NSW Cross Country Relays - Report

    28th NSW Cross Country Relays were held at Miranda Park last weekend. This is a prestigious cross country competition and this year’s edition saw around 750 runners competing across all age categories.

    Randwick Botany Harriers club was represented by 10 teams and 3 individual runners. Our best placed teams were U18 girls (silver) followed by Open Men (bronze).
    It was great collective effort to get that many runners competing for our club, thank you everyone for helping.
