NSW Road Relays 2010 - Report

What a fantastic effort by Randwick Botany Harriers relay teams in Wollongong. Our club put together 10 teams and we came home with a swag of medals. U14 girls, U18 boys, Open Men and 35+ Men won gold while U16 girls and U16 boys won silver medal. It is not bragging to say we dominated the competition.

    Botany Bolt Race Report

Harry Summers - Open male winner

Harry Summers (Randwick Botany Harriers) and Lauren Parsons (Sutherland) claimed victories at 3rd Botany Bolt. Harry thus became reigning Botany Bolt champion. Unlike last year when he ran strong from the start, this year Harry started conservatively which was unusual to see. But he took the lead before the end of first 2k lap and then slightly missed the course. This set him back to 3rd place. Not long after that he went to the front again and never looked back.
