    The IAAF is deeply saddened to hear that Polish athletics coach Wieslaw Czapiewski died on Saturday at the age of 59.
  • Weekend road round-up: course records broken in Amsterdam, Delhi, Toronto and Lisbon
    Ethiopia’s Degitu Azmeraw smashed the women’s course record at the TCS Amsterdam Marathon with 2:19:26, the second-fastest debut in history for the distance, while Kenya’s Vincent Kipchumba won a close men’s contest in 2:05:09 at the IAAF Gold Label road race on Sunday (20).

    Three-time world 20km race walk champion and 50km world record-holder Liu Hong will lead a strong Chinese contingent aiming to win both the individual and team titles at the Around Taihu International Race Walking competition, the last leg of this year’s IAAF Race Walking Challenge that will start on Sunday (20).

    NSW CC Relays - Report

     

    There was something strange about NSW Cross Country Relays this year - there was no mud on the course. The weather was "four seasons in one day" starting cloudy and dry at mid morning, followed by rain and cold, then clear and sunny. Despite having number of elite athletes overseas, RBH had some great runs on the day, including comeback run by Lauren McKillop. Our medal tally on the day was 1 gold and 2 bronze medal.

    Presentation Night

    The presentation night is on the second floor of the Doncaster Hotel, 268 Anzac Pde Kensington at 7.30pm on Thursday 26 November. The presentation recognizes our Outstanding Achievement*, Hergenhan, Curotta and Distance trophies along with record-breakers, Master's Achievement and International Achievement awards. This is always a fun social occasion and the awards ceremony is just a bonus!

    State XC Relays 2016

     

    State relays are to be held at Miranda Park on Saturday 28th May. Traditionally our club participate at this competition which is important for Winter Premiership points. Every year we try to put the best possible teams in every age group.

    Last year our Open Men team (Courtney, Jeff Hunt, Ben Moreau and Jeremy) won this prestigious race ahead of Sydney University.

    State Relays 2015 - Report

    This year State Relays were held at Blacktown International Sport Park. Our club entered 7 teams initially but had to scratch U18 girls 4x100m. The remaining 6 teams performed above expectation and produced medal tally of 1 gold and 4 silver medals.
