  • Thiam battles injury to score world lead while LePage breaks through in Talence
    Belgium’s Nafissatou Thiam and Canada’s Pierce LePage took the top prizes at the Decastar meeting in Talence on Sunday (23), but the fourth leg of the IAAF Combined Events Challenge was a weekend of ups and downs for Thiam and fellow world champion Kevin Mayer.

    NSW Long Course Country Champs

    After several years of taking hopes to the slopes of Nowra, the Kembla Joggers hosted this years Championships at Brownsville. After heavy rain in the lead up, the decision to proceed occurred in the 24 hours prior, and with it came mud-and lots of it!

    State XC Relays 2015

    State relays are to be held at Miranda Park on Saturday 30th May. Traditionally our club participate at this competition and even dominate some events. This event is important for Winter Premiership points. Every year we try to put the best possible teams in every age group.

    XC Relays 2015 - Report

    Miranda Park was again our host venue for State Cross Country relays. Our club did very well. We entered 9 teams and 3 individual runners for this competition. The medal tally is 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze. This certainly could have been better but few of our runners were out with injuries and that affected some teams especially U18 girls and Open women.

    RBH at 2015 National Championships

     

    Randwick Botany Harriers was very successful at National Open Championships held in Brisbane over four days, from 26th to 29th March. We had 12 athletes competing including 2 para athletes. The final medal tally for our club was 2 gold and 3 bronze medals.
