    State XC Relays 2017


    State relays are to be held at Miranda Park on Saturday 27th May. Traditionally our club participate at this competition which is important for Winter Premiership points. Every year we try to put the best possible teams in every age group.

    AOC: Allan Lawrence 1930 - 2017
    Sad news today with the passing of Australia’s dual Olympian and RBH member Allan Lawrence.
    Aged 86, and a resident of Houston, Texas for many decades, Lawrence passed away after a battle with Pancreatic cancer.
    Born in Sydney, he won Australia’s first athletics medal at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, winning a bronze, in the 10,000 metres.

    State Relays 2016 - Report

    I was wandering if it is worth writing this report at all considering that we entered only 2 teams, that is our worst effort ever. Last year we entered 9 teams and year before 13. The reasons are not obvious. Is it the location of the venue? Could coaches do more to help putting together more teams? Or is it simply the fact that there was not much interest among athletes to compete at this event? Whatever it is, we definitely have to do better next year.

    World CC Departure Dinner











    Four member of Randwick Botany Harriers Athletic Club has been selected to represent Australia at upcoming World Cross Country Championships in Uganda. 
    To celebrate this, our club members (and their guests) are invited to come for a dinner and drinks on Wednesday 15 March starting at 7:30pm at "Doncaster Hotel", Kensington.

    State Relays 2016

    State Relays this year will be held at Blacktown International Sportpark at Rooty Hill on 26th and 27th November. Our club participate every year in this significant competition which is expected to attract more than 700 teams. Please note that club will pay entry fee for every team and all you have to do is show up in your club uniform with your reggo bib and compete well.
