    The IAAF is deeply saddened to hear that Polish athletics coach Wieslaw Czapiewski died on Saturday at the age of 59.

    Ethiopia’s Degitu Azmeraw smashed the women’s course record at the TCS Amsterdam Marathon with 2:19:26, the second-fastest debut in history for the distance, while Kenya’s Vincent Kipchumba won a close men’s contest in 2:05:09 at the IAAF Gold Label road race on Sunday (20).

    World CC Departure Dinner











    Four member of Randwick Botany Harriers Athletic Club has been selected to represent Australia at upcoming World Cross Country Championships in Uganda. 
    To celebrate this, our club members (and their guests) are invited to come for a dinner and drinks on Wednesday 15 March starting at 7:30pm at "Doncaster Hotel", Kensington.

     

    Lexy Gilmour will start in Open Women category in Kampala on 26th March while Georgia Evans and Emily Hopper are part of U20 girls team. Zachary Facioni earned his spot in U20 boys team. This is huge success for our club as these four athletes comprise 1/6th of the whole Australian team.

    Come and enjoy relaxed evening, have a dinner and drink with your fellow club members.
