    3rd Botany Bolt Race

    This year Botany Bolt race will be held on 12th June 2010 at Mutch Park with start at 9am. Traditionally this race offers more then $1000 in prize money and attracts strong fields in both male and female categories. Last year winner Harry Summers (pictured left) ran the course record over 6km in 18 minutes and 18 seconds. The course is 2k grass loop with couple of short hills. Race entry is on the day only.

     

     

     

     





    There will be 4 categories. Open and 40+ category will ran 6km (3x2km lap), 18 years and under will run 4km (2x2km lap) and 12 years and under will run 2km (1x2km lap).

    1. Open male and female - 6k
    2. 40yrs and over male and female - 6k
    3. 18yrs and under male and female - 4k
    4. 12 years and under - 2k


    Entry Fee: 
    Open category (19 years and up) - $10
    18yrs and under- $5

    Mutch Park is located next to Eastgarden Shopping Centre and Hensley Athletics Field (see map below).
    Entrance is of Hefron Rd, parking is available not far from start/finish line.
    Buses 390, 391, 392 will get you to Eastgardens from City via Anzac Parade and Kingsford,
    bus 301 is going there via Surry Hills and Eastlakes.

    Rules and Conditions

    1. Competitors can only receive one prize. If eligible for more than one prize, they will receive the prize of the greatest value.
    2. Age groups based on competitor’s age on day of race.
