    2014 State Relays - Report

State relays this year were very successful for Randwick Botany Harriers. Many athletes responded to our initial call and that resulted in 19 of our teams being entered for this competition. After some good running at State 3k Championships, there was a rumour going around that our Open Men 4x1500m team would attempt to break state record. There was also some excitement among junior runners. All this contributed to exceptional medal tally of 4 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medal. Last year we had only 2 gold and 3 silver.

    NSW Road Relays - Report

Our club didn't enter many teams for State Road Relay Championships but those competing on the day performed brilliantly. This competition was held only 6 days after Gold Coast Marathon which didn't help. Also few good runners opted to run 10k fun run the following day instead of competing for the club and that was disappointing. We entered 5 teams only but the medal tally for the day was more than impressive: 3 gold and 1 silver medal.
