    Five world champions will head to Berlin’s ISTAF meeting on Sunday (6) for the penultimate leg of the IAAF World Challenge and IAAF Hammer Throw Challenge series.

    Mutaz Essa Barshim and Barbora Spotakova went to the IAAF World Championships, Beijing 2015 as the bookmaker’s favourites for their events but failed to get a medal of any hue, however the pair got partial compensation at the 2015 IAAF Diamond League final in Zurich on Thursday.
  • Ayana wins the battle of the world champions in Zurich – IAAF Diamond League
    The highly publicised duel between a trio of gold medallists from the IAAF World Championships, Beijing 2015 in the women’s 3000m was supposed to be one of the highlights of the 2015 IAAF Diamond League final in Zurich and so it proved, with Ethiopia’s Almaz Ayana coming out on top on Thursday.
  • Merritt gets 400m revenge but James takes Diamond Race in Zurich – IAAF Diamond League
    The first three men in the IAAF World Championships 400m last week were the first three home at the Weltklasse Zurich, but the order was completely different on a chilly night at the first of the 2015 IAAF Diamond League finals, as USA’s LaShawn Merritt produced a perfectly executed race to win over one lap of Zurich’s famous Letzigrund stadium in 44.18.

    2015 NSW Road Relays Report

    NSW Road Relay Championships were held at Newcastle University Campus at Ourimbah in beautiful weather conditions.
    We entered only 5 teams for this competition but they were all high quality teams. We came away with 4 medals, 3 gold and one silver. The highlight of this competition was 10th consecutive title for our Open Men team.

    NSW Long Course Country Champs

    After several years of taking hopes to the slopes of Nowra, the Kembla Joggers hosted this years Championships at Brownsville. After heavy rain in the lead up, the decision to proceed occurred in the 24 hours prior, and with it came mud-and lots of it!

    State Road Relays 2015

    State road relays are to be held at Ourimbah, The University of Newcastle Central Coast Campus on Saturday 11th July. Our club will participate at this competition. This event is important for Winter Premiership points. Every year we try to put the best possible teams in every age group.This year is very special as our Open Men team will try to win 10th consecutive tile.
