Jane Saville — 2004 Olympics Bronze Medal, 3 times Commonwealth Champion 20k Walk
“I have been a member of RBH since I was 13 years of age (except for a few years whilst I was at University). It has always been an extremely supportive club, from grass roots to elite. I remember the fun I had competing with the RBH team at Interclub and then proudly standing on the Olympic dais knowing that the Club’s support was instrumental in guiding me through athletics to the top level! I am now on the other side as an official and I am very proud to say I am still a member of Randwick Botany Harriers.”
Jeremy Roff — World Championships and Commonwealth Games representative 1500m
“As a club RBH has shown nothing but unwavering support throughout my entire career. From a promising junior the transition to becoming an Australian representative as a senior athlete was very rewarding. Being part of such a family, friendly and successful club allowed me to feel a great sense of pride every time I stepped out to race.”
Steven Solomon — London Olympics 400m finalist
“I have been a part of RBH from the very start of my running career. In them, I immediately found a family in a sport that I was new to. There is a fantastic spirit within the club and I enjoy the camaraderie and pride that I get from being a member of RBH.”
Jeffrey Hunt — London Olympics Marathon
“I've spent most of my running career as a member of RBH. We are a club steeped in history with representatives at many Olympic Games. The club culture and camaraderie is what drew me to join and and be a part of the club legacy. They have been extremely supportive in my career, and I am very proud to have represented them at the highest levels of our sport. Their unwavering support of their athletes is second to none, and I am truly proud to be a harrier today and always.”
Selma Kajan — Rio Olympics 800m
“Having been with Randwick Botany Harriers since a junior athlete, I can honestly say that they have always supported and encouraged my athletic career. From the financial support, functions and congratulations after a good performances, they have always had an interest and allowed me to pursue my dreams. RBH is a humble, friendly club, who will share your personal experiences in an otherwise individual sport. I am proud to have represented them at the Olympics.”
Lora Roff — World Championships 800m
“I have been a member of RBH since relocating to Sydney in 2013 and I was welcomed to the club with open arms and a truckload of support. I have been lucky enough to represent the club at a National and International level and the support and encouragement I have received has been phenomenal. RBH is more like an athletics family than an organisation and I feel an immense sense of pride when I am able to represent the Blue and Gold of Randwick Botany. Their support for their athletes is truly what makes this club so special and so successful.”
